Internet is full of productivity and time management articles. We should manage our time and produce more. We should be more effective and get more done. Why? Do you need to do more? No. Does it affect your salary or do you get bonus? No. Does it bring more money to your employer or owners of the company. Probably yes.
Getting things done is important to me because, getting things done gives you good feeling, but also gives space to do something else.
Having things done, improves your own happiness. It works at least for me.
